EMBRACe hosted a retreat aimed to bring together Black, Latina/o/x moms, birthing people and all those who support them to dream big about how they can achieve better birth outcomes for moms and babies in Chatham County, NC. The event engaged attendees in a day of story sharing, reflection, and community building. 

We created a workbook that reflected the welcoming spirit of the event along with the diversity of attendees. The warmer tones, textures, and organic shapes for the design to feel inviting. Our goal was for attendees to feel seen and heard when flipping through these pages.
